Beauchamp Family Joy Session

Let me just start off by saying that the Beauchamps are probably one of my favorite groups of people ever. Just sayin’. This sunny shoot took place in Riverpark, Oxnard—a beautiful community that has multiple parks (more like open fields) and even a gazebo to host weddings (which was happening on this very day!) Not a cloud in the sky, the sun was the second brightest thing next to the exuberant love and laughs that the Beauchamps shared. I was so happy to capture their rare California vacation (Momma Beauchamp hadn’t been here for 30 years!) Here are some of my favorite snaps!

PVBC Baptism + Site Visit

Happy Holidays everyone! I hope everyone is having a fantastic holiday season this year. You know what Christmas is all about? Jesus. Do you know what they talk about at Palos Verdes Baptist Church? Jesus.

I had the pleasure of capturing the sights and sounds of a service held at PVBC for their fully revamped website that I’m developing for them. Luckily, the day that I went down to the South Bay to take some shots, a baptism was happening that same day—WHAT!? How cool is that? The service included music, prayer, post-service refreshments, and an incredibly humbling message (shot around Thanksgiving) about just being thankful for what you have, not thinking about what you could have.

Their website should be updating soon, but in the meantime, enjoy some of my favorite picks from this session! A big thank you to Pastor Ken, Paul Shitabata, and Scott VanKampen for helping coordinate (and for the awesome Udon house recommendation while I was down there!)

Lee Family Joy Session

Umm, can you say “baby?” Christina and Briant were looking to capture their seven-month-old daughter, Megan, before she grew even more than she has in the past few months! Although my jokes, crass humor, and typical knee-slappin’ jokes didn’t seem to phase Megan, toys, funny faces and noises seemed to do the job just fine. Heck, I even laughed, too! I was glad I brought my running shoes and had a solid breakfast, photographing toddlers is no walk in the park! However, some of the pictures that came out of the session were absolutely priceless and I was glad to catch them for my cousins Christina and Briant. Here are some of the shots from this happy family joy session! And welcome to the family, little Nut-meg! :-) (P.S., was being called Uncle Randy the whole time. WEIRD!! In a good way. :-) )
