Kaitlyn’s Baptism (Bautizo)

Let me just start by saying that baby Kaitlyn is a blessing in herself and is up there in the ranks of most adorable babies EVER. Not that I keep a list or anything though. #awkwardsilence. Anyway, while all of the other kids were crying, Kaitlyn was an absolute angel (pun intended) and took her baptism like a champ! Mario and Karina also had an amazing baptism set that they specially brought just for her which was beauty in itself! Afterwards, they had an intimate after party that was decorated by the man himself: Mario! His dad worked at a party supply store, so he put his balloon blowing skills on display, not to mention the bunting and all of the other trimmings. I’m so lucky to have attended baby Kaitlyn’s bautizo and blessed to capture her special day for her and her parents! And of course, thanks to Nancy for the heads up and coordinating everything!

PVBC Baptism + Site Visit

Happy Holidays everyone! I hope everyone is having a fantastic holiday season this year. You know what Christmas is all about? Jesus. Do you know what they talk about at Palos Verdes Baptist Church? Jesus.

I had the pleasure of capturing the sights and sounds of a service held at PVBC for their fully revamped website that I’m developing for them. Luckily, the day that I went down to the South Bay to take some shots, a baptism was happening that same day—WHAT!? How cool is that? The service included music, prayer, post-service refreshments, and an incredibly humbling message (shot around Thanksgiving) about just being thankful for what you have, not thinking about what you could have.

Their website should be updating soon, but in the meantime, enjoy some of my favorite picks from this session! A big thank you to Pastor Ken, Paul Shitabata, and Scott VanKampen for helping coordinate (and for the awesome Udon house recommendation while I was down there!)
